S'mores Crazy Eights: A Sweet and Simple Card Game

Get ready to enjoy some deliciously fun times with S'mores Crazy Eights, where the goal is to be the first player to roast away all your cards!

What You'll Need:

• A standard 52-card deck
• A craving for s'mores and some card-playing excitement!

Objective:Be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand. But watch out for those pesky eights – they're wild and can shake things up!

How to Play:

Dealing and Setting Up:

• Deal 5 cards to each player, starting from the player to the left of the dealer. Place the remaining deck face down in the center to form the stock pile.
• Turn over the top card of the stock pile and place it face up beside the stock pile. This card is the "starter."

Starting the Game:

• The player to the left of the dealer starts by playing one card face up on the starter pile.
• The card played must match either the suit or the denomination of the card on top of the starter pile, unless the player has an eight.

Playing Cards:

• If a player cannot play a card from their hand, they must draw cards from the stock pile until they can play or until the stock pile is exhausted. If still unable to play, they must pass.
• Players can always choose to draw from the stock pile, even if they have a playable card in their hand.

Wild Eights:

• Eights are wild cards! They can be played at any time, and the player can choose any suit for them.
• The next player must either play a card of the specified suit or another eight.

Winning the Game:

• The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game and gets to enjoy the ultimate s'mores feast!

• Once a player wins, they collect points from each opponent based on the cards left in their hands:
  • Each eight = 50 points
  • Each King, Queen, Jack, or 10 = 10 points
  • Each Ace = 1 point
  • All other cards are scored at face value.
